Be Together. Build Together. Better Together.
We form supportive and trusting relationships among AAPIs to strengthen our sense of belonging.
Second Thursdays: AAPI Meet-ups
The Second Thursdays program brings together AAPI professionals to socialize, hear from local leaders, and learn about upcoming events and opportunities. Every month, we celebrate local businesses owned by Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, especially restaurants, as anchors of the APIA community in the region.
Community Builders
The Community Builders program helps members host small group activities to develop relationships beyond our resumes. From board games to hikes, we strive to make it easier for Asian and Pacific Islander Americans to form meaningful connections through shared experiences. Cultivating a sense of belonging is step one in our chapter's approach to a region where all opportunities for AAPI to advance are unlocked.
We promote bold, vulnerable, and AAPI-driven dialogue and learning to elevate our best selves.
identiTEA
We host intimate gatherings to create brave spaces to share and listen. Our identiTEA discussions often bring us closer as a community as we learn about the similarities and differences in how we have experienced living in the Baltimore metro area.
Self Care and Wellness
Nationally guided and locally grounded, this program emphasizes the health and resilience of the individual and community to effectively lead and serve professionally and personally.
Build Together: AAPI Speaker and Table Talk Series
Hear from a local AAPI leader, share your experiences and insights as an AAPI professional, and build relationships that can unlock your personal and professional potential.
National Leadership Convention
The Leadership Convention, presented by NAAAP, is for those who want to push the boundaries of what it means to lead. People from all professional and cultural backgrounds are welcome to come connect with and be inspired by unconventional leaders, visionaries, and disruptors. See most recent convention.
Mentoring (Coming soon)
We collaborate with partners to understand, amplify, and tackle challenges facing AAPIs and marginalized communities.
Our Better Together programming will be part of phase 3 (Fall 2024).
